While my fellow bloggers from the other parts of the globe are enjoying the summer season, the opposite happens here in the Philippines. Manila has been stricken by typhoons almost every week. Though I love the cold weather that the rainy day brings, the hassle it causes to commuters like me becomes an everyday burden. Umbrella and flip flops suddenly become the fashion or the "in thing" among the working class commuters like me. I use to wear flip flops and leave my leather shoes at work. But last year I have managed to search the best alternative for flip flops

Meet my Crocs flats! This pair has been my ultimate weapon against the puddles and floods in the street. They are also so comfy and easy to clean. It's worth a purchase!

On the way home yesterday,  this jeepney caught my attention.
It's a Sponge Bob jeepney!
Isn't he cute and happy? ;-)

Jeepneys are one of the famous form of public transportation in the Philippines. A typical jeepney looks like this

I grew up taking the jeepney on the way to school and later on to work. I have a lot of adventures and misadventures in riding jeepneys. Perhaps that deserves a separate blog post ;-)

It's 9:04 pm here in the Philippines and I just arrived home from work. Tomorrow I have to get up as early as 4:30 am for my 7:00 am classes. Oh God, I'm willing to embrace everything just take away my eye bags, haggardness and cramps. ;-)

Have a safe, dry and happy week to everyone!
