Close to Repetto

I don't wear heels. Yes, I'm a proud member of the female populace but wearing heels is something I was never bound to do. When flats went back to the fashion scene, I was one of the happiest. Looking for the right pair is no longer a hell of a burden.

Some of the fashion blogs I've been stalking kept talking about this brand

Repetto is a French ballet shoes company created in 1947 by Rose Repetto. Madam Repetto produced her first pair of ballet shoes at the request of her son, dancer and choreographer, Roland Petit. The shoe later became the brand of every ballet dancer. The company later expanded and the rest was history.

Repetto is finally available in the Philippine market. It has opened its first boutique in a high end mall. Being in that location, I know that each pair of Repetto is priced like gold. True enough, a pair would cost around Php 8,000 to Php 15,000 (around $ 200 to 380). Whew!

Though I wasn't able to own a pair from Repetto, I was happy to discover this pair from Kamiseta

They look almost the same! Except for my ugly feet, I guess I have found a close substitute for those expensive Repetto flats.

Mood: Happy!

  1. Pag clothes I used to get from Celine, Schu tapos Pretty Fit. Ma-flats din ako, grabe kase ang lakaran dito. :)

    1. FLATS pala, not clothes. hahahaa. bangag.. tapos 2 days na narealize hahaha

  2. I don't wear heels either! I love these precious ballet flats they look cute on your tiny feet!

  3. They definitely look nice on your feet Diane :)

  4. Hi Diane,
in my opinion ballet flats are always in fashion!
Besides, Audrey Hepburn wore them :)
I do know the Repetto brand, but I don't own any either.
Black flats are classic and they look good on you!

  5. Looks good on your feet! And kudos to finding a pair that's equally pretty but more budget friendly. Flats are one of women's must have's like the little black dress, or at least that's what I think :)

  6. I don't wear heels either!! (well rarely)...I used to, but once I had my daughter, it was a good excuse to wear flats everyday, and now, 2.5 years later, I just can't stop wearing my flats! I love them so much!
