Thank you and Keep Praying

This is the worst way to end 2013 for the Philippines.

At this point, some of you are already aware of the tragedy that is continuously devastating my fellow Filipinos in the Southern region. While everyone here is exhausting all means to reach our fellowmen, I was surprised when a number of my blog friends sent me emails of concern.

Most of my blog friends even signified their willingness to assist in any way they can. I saw the messages as silent blessings in disguise. People whom I believe will remain as online friends came out with their noble intention of helping. Thank you so much dearest blog friends. I don't need to mention your names. You know who you are!

In the midst of all the donations arriving in the country, I was mesmerized by this

Thank you and keep praying for the Philippines.

  1. I'm so glad you and your family are safe, but I feel so badly for your fellow countrymen. I know a lot is going on around our area to garner support and aid for this tragedy. Will keep you all in my prayers.

  2. Oh those sweet children. What good hearts they have in taking action. I am glad you are well and safe. I send money to an international Christian group that helps out in disasters, that is all we can do from so far away in California. And of course pray.

  4. You are so welcome, Sweetie. It's heart breaking watching the coverage of the devastation in your country. Our church is planning something to help, and they'll be announcing it at Wednesday Night activities.

Keep us updated about conditions there. The typhoon has received TONS of coverage here.

    (((((hugs))))),

  6. Heartbreaking indeed, good to hear you are safe. In the Netherlands we'll have a big television broadcasting to raise money.

  7. Sometimes, I think I should not watch the news. The devastation your country is going through breaks my heart. I always put myself in the place of the victims and imagine what life would be like for me. Glad you are ok but I know you must be saddened.
