This is just one of those weekends when I don't have to worry about the upcoming week. No lectures to prepare. No books to read. No papers to check. This is life! Best about everything, I have an extended vacay! I will be reporting back to work on Wednesday. The past week was also way relaxing at the workplace. Before the holiday break started, I was able to squeeze in an out of town trip with my friends. I'll blog about this amazing place in another post. ;) Meanwhile, here are the few beautiful things that made my week,

Ven's Puto Seko - This was one of my take home purchases from my short out-of-town trip. How many of you also loves Ven's Puto Seko?

Merengue - Nothing beats this childhood favorite treat. It's way cheaper and better in those local pasalubong stores.

Nagcarlan Church - Unfortunately, we arrived late. We weren't able to see its interiors and the famous underground cemetery.

The traveler strikes again ;) -Another travel post is coming up

This is the main destination of my short out-of-town trip. A place inspired by Thailand and Bali served with all those favorite local delicacies.

Trick or Treat - It happened at the workplace before the holiday break. Perfect way to end the semester for the little kids.

Cleaning out my closet - Literally and figuratively?! :) I have to let go of these bundles of index cards. They may relate my most cherished years in teaching, but my desire to gradually let go of things that only intensify my sentimental foolishness prevailed.

All Saints Day - Remembering my Lola who passed away three years ago and my dearest friend Anna

Hopeless Romantic Hormones Activated - Thank you Rose for encouraging me to watch this. Despite having only 17 episodes, the story was well executed.
