Many years ago, I used to discover promising brands and products through blogs and instagram accounts of famous personalities. In Filipino parlance, budol finds. Today, my source of budol shifted to You Tube and Tiktok. 

Recently, I discovered Eve & Adam from both my Tiktok and Instagram accounts. They introduce themselves as a local producer of bags for women. After stalking the brand and reviews for several months, I gave in. I purchased this Anika Baguette Sling Bag through their Shopee account. 

I decided to purchase for the following reasons

1. The bag fits a lot. The photo I provided below fits my usual things and does not even include a compact power and an small folding umbrella. This post from their Instagram account specifically shows how many items it can fit. 

2.  It has both short and long straps. I kept the short strap because I prefer to use the longer sling strap. 

3. The bag has structure and stands on its own. I prefer bags with structure because it looks more polished and provides an easier way to organize my things. 

4. It's affordable. It retails from Php 1,300 to 1,500, depending on the color and availability of voucher codes from Shopee. 

5. Versatile, can be used in both formal and casual occasions 

Based on its Shopee description, the bag is made from vegan leather. I can only wish that the company comes with a version made from genuine leather. However, I'm equally aware that the cost and price will increase with a genuine leather. Though to be honest, the bag already has excellent craftmanship, that it can pass for an authentic leather bag.

The bag's piping also has a very neat finish. 

I’ve used the bag several times. It hasn’t shown any scratches or signs of wear. This proves the durability and quality of the vegan leather used. It also reflects the care and craftsmanship that went into its thoughtful production process.
